Launch of a collaborative system for the reform of the misnamed “Intellectual Property” legislation in Spain and the European Union, based on documents from the FCForum and a proposal by Quadrature du Net that draws on recommendations from Communia. Presented by X.net, La Quadrature Du Net. Richard Stallman comments the tool.

    Governments do not act in a transparent manner. Least of all Spanish governments. Spain is one of the few European States which do not have any transparency legislation at all. Under pressure, the current government is planning to pass a simulacrum. Pure whitewash.
    Let’s see what we, as civil society, can do.
